Hand-luggage rules 

Everything purchased after the security control at Eindhoven Airport, may be taken on board as hand luggage. Special regulations apply for the transport of liquids during a passenger interchange. For more information, ask the Capi Eindhoven employees.

Duty free legislation

Capi Eindhoven has two price categories for spirits and tobacco products.
Passengers travelling to destinations within the European Union pay the local price; marked with the following icon:

Passengers travelling to destinations outside the European Union or transfer passengers flying through other EU airports to destinations outside the EU are exempt of paying taxes or excise duties; the price is then marked with the following icon:  . In this cases, please inform our employees when purchasing any spirits or tobacco products.

The European Union

The following countries are part of the European Union:
Belgium, Bulgary, Denmark, Germany, Finland. France, Greece, United Kingdom and the North of Ireland, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Cyprus (Greek part), Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithonia, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia  and Czech Republic.

There is an exception for the Canary Islands and Channel Islands, if you fly to one of these destinations you can purchase duty-free spirits and tobacco. 

Are you flying back to the Netherlands from a country outside the EU? Then the regulations for importing (limited tax free) goods from outside the EU apply. Please consider regulations of the destination country, also when returning to the Netherlands. Customs office can provide you with more information.
